The sun was mercilous and I decided that fair skinned me should use a little extra protection on my lips. I slathered them with the old fashioned zinc oxide - you know the white stuff - and the next morning my lower lip could have held a bird's nest. Had to stay off the slopes for a couple days and boy did my lip ever hurt. Don't know if it was the zinc oxide, or just sun poisioning or just cumulative sun exposure, but I never want to experience it again.
